THEATRE REMIX Instructor: Angela Kariotis

Add dramatic dimension to your curriculum using stories, interviews, speeches, music and themes as starting points to interpret different kinds of source material in new ways. Through creative writing, performance exercises, music, literature, pop culture and news media, participants will generate new and diverse material to bring their topic to life and create a final performance piece. DRAMATIC STRATEGIES FOR ANTI-BULLYING Instructor: Angela Kariotis

Learn how theatre can be an effective tool to understand and teach students about physical, emotional and cyber-bullying. Through theatre games, improvisation, creative writing and media sources, participants will explore bullying from the point of view of the Bully, the Bullied, and the Bystander. Learn how to empower students to express their feelings on this topic people by engaging in dramatic interdisciplinary activities that can be transferred directly to the classroom. Minor Workshop.
